Hi-
I have been diagnosed with a buffet of conditions, including ME/CFS. In retrospect, some of the more disabling symptoms began progressively after starting a daily regiment of adderal and Lexapro. I'd like to look into a possible neurotransmitter disorder, but am not sure of any reputable specialists. I've had urine testing in the past and all of my neurotransmitters were alarmingly low...except for glutamate, which was alarmingly high. I know that urine is a questionable source. Has anyone had neurotransmitter testing conducted through cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and/or any other more recognized and accepted testing...and treatment? TIA!
