Hi all,

I had this tested as part of my CDSA. My result was 7.6 and the normal was reported as 6.2-41 Ug/gram.

A search of the literature found the following:

1) http://books.google.ca/books?id=iPT...8Q6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=chymotrypsin u/g&f=false

- normal of 100U/gram with upper and lower limits from the graph of about 35 and 150IU/gram

2) http://sciclips.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/fecal-biomarker-for-the-diagnosis-of-parkinson’s-disease/

- normal of 28U/gram with range of 9.2-47U/gram

3) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1378844/
- mean of 13.2U/gram with normal range not given
- mean in rural controls was even lower at 7.1U/gram

All 3 reports give vastly different normal values. Does anyone have any knowledge on this at all ?
