Blood cleaning device for Sepsis

I don't know if this blood cleansing device that clears the blood of viruses, bacteria, fungi, toxins, etc has ever been mentioned before on this forum. I think that using this device would bring symptom relief and improved functioning during the time that our blood is still clean until it gets contaminated again. I personally have always felt that ME/CFS to me feels like living while being constantly poisoned everyday and I have heard some ME/CFS researches think we have a chronic low grade sepsis type problem. https://wyss.harvard.edu/improved-sepsis-therapeutic-device/

Using your link @tyson oberle I inquired re: current status of the device. It has been taken over by the start-up Opsonix that is continuing its testing towards moving it to market in the US.

A March 2016 article mentions a similar [not exact] product on the market in Japan and Europe:
