Biotin promotes growth of candida

Hi @jason30 - I think it's a little more complicated - a study showed that women who were prone to vaginal candida infections and had a an "inborn error of biotin metabolism" benefited from pharmacological doses of biotin: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0029784498002932

So biotin can help with fighting candida, or it can promote it, depending on a person's individual biochemistry.
Also, some people have found that biotin helps with energy - see this thread:

I've taken biotin for a long time and don't have problems with candida. So I'd recommend people pay attention to their body - if they have candida issues, it could be too much biotin OR not enough - I guess in the absence of specialized testing, one would just have to experiment.
