I don't think we can afford to lose any bees for their venom. They are dying off so fast as it is.

Why couldn't it be reproduced synthetically. I don't know if a synthetic version could be patented. If it couldn't, no one is likely to do it.

I had 2 short term complete remissions using BVT a number of years ago.

If you google, you'll find commercial bee venom products available.

Sorry for not replying sooner - computer failure.

The first remission was BVT only. The second time I was taking some licorice root in conjunction with it.

nettle tea can do similar i hear. both have stings. formic acid, similar to ant bites too.
