There is going to be a piece on Countryfile any minute now on the dangers of ticks in the countryside.

Well that was pretty disappointing. "Ticks can give your cows a nasty disease. Please send your ticks to this research lab."

Not a word about Lyme.

I think they did mention at the beginning about the connection with Lyme disease and you need to go to your doctor for treatment but no mention of late stage/chronic problems and how serious these can be. So yes a missed opportunity yet again.
