Are there any online consulting ME/CFS doctors, out there?

What kind of service would you like from an online consultant? A doctor needs to see someone in person to record signs of disease.

I have all necessary blood work done and still need a doctor (or any other specialist)
who can read "immunological" blood work to draw the right conclusions for a proper treatment.

Since it is hard to find in my country any ME/CFS doctors,
I am somewhat curious if there are any reputated ME/CFS doctors doing online consulting?
Generally, at least in the US, a doctor has to see you in person initially. This can be tough as so many can’t travel.

Online doctors would be great. Or even an online consultant who worked with a local physician (which might be harder to arrange). 99% of my appointments, if there's any physical exam, it's a cursory one. They examine muscles that I told them are painful, they verify nothing structurally unusual (I guess their fingers are more sensitive than my x-rays and MRI reports), and leave me sore from the exam.

Nowadays some insurance companies offer online or phone consults - but they only give very basic treatments, nothing ongoing.

Here’s one answer that you can explore:

Online medical care can never fully replace face-to-face treatment for all conditions. In addition, every individual online doctor and medical service carries its own advantages and disadvantages.

Quick Picks: add .com after the name
1. SteadyMD.com
2. MDLIVE
3. Sherpaa
4. LiveHealth Online
5. PlushCare
6. DoctorOnDemand
7. BetterHelp.com
8. First Opinion
9. Teladoc
10. AmericanWell

How do you choose the best online doctor? While which provider is really “the best” can vary according to your needs – instant urgent care for a cold or long-term relationship with a concierge primary care doctor, for example – all patients can better choose a physician when they are informed of the facts.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I think most ME people would be looking for a long-term relationship with a specialist in one of these areas which seems more difficult to find.

I suppose an online consultant rates would depend on their level of expertise and what they offered.

I've improved a great deal, because I have been fortunate to be able to build a team of doctors and get access to treatments.

The most critical thing is to have access to tests that find treatable problems, like infections, immunodeficiency, autoimmunity, CCI, nutrient deficiency, hormonal imbalances, heavy metal or mold toxicity, mast cell activation, POTS, plans/or several other comorbid conditions.

And then provide access to treatments like IVIG, Valcyte or other antivirals, antibiotics, PT and/or surgery, a customized hormone or supplement program, mitochondrial supplements, a chelation/detox program, mast cell meds, POTS meds, etc.

I'm not sure how instructional books, demo videos, and proprietary supplements would help most of us. It's just too complex, unfortunately. Sounds like a great way for an entrepreneur/charlatan to make money at our expense, though! ;)

Seriously, we do live in the age of telemedicine, and I do see some of my doctors remotely, by phone, with them emailing lab orders and treatment plans, and faxing prescriptions to pharmacies and arranging IV treatments with local nursing services, and providing advice that I can follow up on with my local doctors.

There are simply no ME/CFS doctors in the European area:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1M-E5tB-tla8lV3bPjT3PaMkxgn0&ll=50.174715958453895,16.15234375&z=5

Most progresses I made by own "try & error", any local doctors were not any help.
I take daily up to 14 supplements + some medications.
All those stuff works synergetic and my energy levels were increasing, but at last a lot off expensive supplements and always ruling out by "try & error" if this or that is any helpfull -or- an even better combination => doing so is much time consuming.
So it would be a good idea, to have an expert looking at few things to push things (faster) to the next level.

Dr Neil Nathan does co-consults with patients and their local health practitioners all around the world. But he is bloody expensive and does specialize in highly sensitive patients (people who react to everything). Google his name if you want more info from his website.
