alternative to live FMT.

have heard some mixed reviews. Only one amazing review from parent of autistic person.

I have taken only 2 capsules and I think it might help. I suspect I would need a higher dose than 1 a day, which would make it unaffordable for me - unless it got me well enough to work, which is unlikely.

i have no idea but isn't it being sterile counter intuitive to the idea of colonizing or enriching the microbiome of your gut?

I admit I was wondering what the point was too, unless it's supposed to trigger immune cells for some sort of benefit.

it is the metabolites produced by the bacteria, that do most of the work - signalling and whatnot - so that is why it helps. Those are still there.

I am getting modest help from 1 a day. My friend also. Now I am at a crossroads: do I take 1 or sometimes 2 of this a day, do I continue to see a new local doc and do all his stuff, or do I look for a new reliable fMt donor for DIY FMT? I cannot do even 2 of these things at once due to high cost.

or do I simply pursue antifungals + old Brewer nasal protocol and run with fungus theory...:-/

fMt donor = nightmare and a half to find

recent paper showed "fecal filtrate" is powerful immune regulator in mice but that is not sterile - I think it still has the phages and viruses and such. but bacteria has been filtered out completely. Thaenabiotic is sterile
