I’ve noticed that when I’m feeling really heavy and extra low on stamina, and I take a hot shower, when I get out, I always feel markedly better than I did before the shower. I’m guessing this has to do with blood flow and the hot water and me stepping out into the cold air. But I always thought it was a great clue as to what might be causing my malaise. And it always encouraged me, because it made me wonder, “could it be as simple as a blood flow issue?”
Do any of you have the same experience with showers and temporary improvement (not complete resolution) of symptoms?

I feel better out of a hot bath/shower. The effect lasts for 30-60 minutes. I guess my case has to do with my body temperature. When I got sick I experienced a drop in my body temperature and it is still lower than it used to be. Hot shower raises it back for a while. Also, I feel better in summer.

I used to enjoy a bath yeah, the heat of the water wouldn't really bother me, but I really don't like heatwaves like whats happening in the UK at the moment, the temp jumped from sub 20c most of the time most days, with a good breeze, up to 26 to 28c this weekend, looks set to continue for a while.

I haven't had a bath for over 2 months though as i've become very mold sensitive :(, I just wash as best I can outside with a cloth and a saucepan when its warm enough.

I feel better after a hot bath. It raises my body temperature and probably gives my immune system a break. Epsom salts help as well. With a shower it's offset by the fact of standing in the shower taking energy.

I don't do well with heat waves or going out in hot weather. But I have to say this winter I was probably the coldest I've ever been due to fighting off low grade illnesses one after another. Hot baths were a relief from the cold, achy feeling.

In my case, it has the opposite effect. A hot shower can crash me badly. I think probably because the sweat causes a reduction in blood volume, something to which I am very sensitive. I have to be careful to shower in water that is as cold as I can tolerate.
Interestingly enough, other hot situations crash me badly. While I’m in the shower, I actually don’t feel any better, but when I get out I feel way better than I did before getting in
