Does anyone have any recommendations for books that are worthwhile and informative on the subject?

What sort of information are you after about chronic viral infection? Can you be more specific? Treatments? Testing? Virology? Immune system?

@Hip, whoops just realized you responded to this. I do not have anything super specific in mind. My hope is to become more informed/knowledgeable about the complexities of these overall multi system dysfunction type diseases that affect us in the attempt to better understand what is happening to my body. I wanted to see if anyone had any books that they had read that they found were well written and actually backed by science and useful in some way in them becoming a more empowered patient (I do feel that through many resources on this site, ie you testing roadmap and much of the research shared, I have already become much more empowered but would love a good book or so on the subject to get me through some of these long days at home). So yes anything in the area of treatment, testing, virology, and the immune system would be of interest to me.

I don't really know a good book that covers all these things in an up-to-date manner. A lot of things are in flux, so I think it would be hard to find an up-to-date book, but I have not really looked much into what books are available.

MEpedia is a good online ME encyclopedia to dip into. I like their list of popular pages, as this shows the articles which are most read.

Oh, cool! Just took a peek and was not aware of this resource yet. Should keep me busy for a while. Thanks!
