Hi All, Can I ask those who have undertaken a course of anti virals to treat ME/CFS and who suffered worse cold infections etc., were the infections and their severity reduced after treatment? Thanks.

Rarely its a course, usually a couple of years atleast. Or 6 months on valcyte as its toxic than move to valtrex or famvir as they are much safer long term.

Instead of going down the valtrex valcyte route I went down the botanical anti viral route. It did help but it got me to about 80%. Even so you can still gradually decline from that 80% but it takes months.
