Anti inflammatory supplements

Hi there,

I believe I need to do way more in terms of anti-inflammatory / inflammation modulation. When my Krill oil ended 2 months ago, I didn't reorder. I regret that now. So, I will be restarting Krill oil soon (about 800mg EPA and DHA). Do you know any affordable but good brand? I am currently paying 35€ for 60 capsules, which is very expensive in the long run.

However, I'd like to try other things beyond Krill. What worked for you?

I am considering:
- Barberine;
- Glycine;
- Resveratrol;
- Back cumin oil;
- CBD;

Please advise.

Thanks

Anti-inflammatory supplements give me the most relief.
What works for me is:

- Boswellia 500mg (in oil based gelcaps from NOW foods, other brands don't well)
- Quercetin (Liposomal formula from Thorne)
- Curcumin 500mg (sometimes, liposomal formula from Thorne)
- Fish oil (2:1 DHA/EPA)
- Flaxseed oil

The fruit from the naprogesic tree is probably my most used anti inflammatory.
Ive tried the other herbals but no luck.
If its a muscle group thats sore, some of the herbal type gels and creams work. Actually a veterinary one in australia called rapigel, its used alot for arthritis. It very popular because it works. Contains isoprophyl alcohol, menthol and camphor. Says it aids in reducing inflammation and swelling in joints and tendons. It is indicated for horses so maybe the ingredients are stronger??

There's a long thread on low dose naltrexone (LDN). It's my background anti-inflammatory. For other inflammation, eg. arms, I've had good results w/ NOW celery extract, which includes hawthorne, I believe. Good luck, lot's of choice.

I respond to the supplements that reduce Th1 Dominance. Here's a super anti-inflammatory stack I learned from Selfhacked:

  • 1000mg Londvida curcumin
  • 50 - 100mg CBD
  • 1- 2mg THC
  • 400mg andrographis
  • 3g fish oil
  • 1 capsule Boswellia
  • 3000mg glycine
  • 250mg resveratrol

they're all good. together there is strong synergy. most potent one, I think, is NOW Andrographis.

I have recently started a trial of Low dose naltrexone... so far looks promising.

Hoping I can drop several of these with the help of LDN.
