Oh why, Oh why, Oh why ME,
You stole our life at every degree

We search for answers but draw a blank,
Again and again our hearts have sank

Compassion is rare, medics are stumped,
Tossed on the wastepile, totally dumped

No-one to turn to, forums are grace,
We know some day we'll win this race

Brain fog, tremors, fatigue and crashes,
Some day we'll put you forever to the ashes

Family and friends they blankly stare,
Its not their fault, as we return to our lair

Supplements and medicine we've tried them all,
Its just won't shift, like a giant wall

Montreal, Tahoe and Chapel Hill
The list is endless, like our will

Low Killer Cells,a mito dysfunction
Drawing closer to a marker at this junction

Klimas, Davies, Cheney and Younger
Angels of medicine fighting our corner

A poem for hope, joy and belief
ME, You'll never beat us, you pathetic thief.
