"Interactions between the brain, blood vessels, and the immune system are a common thread in the development and progression of many neurological diseases that have been traditionally viewed as very different conditions,"

I don't know whether they found--or even looked for--blood leaking into the brains of PWME, but it's one more possibility they can look for in ME research.

Some diseases really can be complex. What if ME is blood leaking into the brain due to microbiome disruptions and multiple chemicals working together and some genes interacting in unexpected ways and some other obscure factors still unnoticed by science? I strongly doubt that the root cause of ME is due to one simple factor.
