For anyone else who similarly have unexplained panic attacks, some things to be aware of that can be associated with such attacks and which I suggest should be ruled out as well (due to their possible effect on the left adrenal gland from venous congestion) are left renal vein compression (renal Nutcracker Syndrome), iliac vein compression May-Thurner Syndrome), and these may go with also having pelvic congestion syndrome.

Hello everyone.....I am almost 78 years of age, female and I sound like "Maggie." I have frequent anxiety/panic attacks, all of the other symptoms she has and have had a heart attack, autoimmune encephalitis, gastric surgery and well, I could go on and on.

What's interesting though, is that all of the above that were listed occurred on the same day. Oh, I forgot a diagnosis of two different types of epilepsy, observed by ER doctors. I was in a coma for approximately 3 days and have zero memory of any of it. Just the ambulance being called.

I'm glad that AI will be a part of our future...for research, at least. I can't speak about other areas. We do have common traits and then some that are not common to everyone else. These symptoms have changed over the years, and I'm thankful that they're now recognized.

Dr. Bell has been with us from the very beginning. Others have studied the problem in other areas....perhaps we're actually closing in on what's causing our symptoms. Frankly, it's too late for me, but I would love to see the lives of those younger than I am changed as soon as possible. I think Long COVID helped spur this along....whatever, we'll take it.

Thanks for presenting "Maggie's" story. Thanks to all of the good men and women who have worked with and for us. We appreciate it all. May each of you have a healthier future to look forward to. Yours, Lenora
