A heartrending and apt story; it is the case of one too many straws on the camels back; for me it was an exhaust problem that showed up just as I was traveling from San Jose to LA on a trip back home. I got sick and survived but a different car problem apparently totalled my detox system (almost for good) about a month later. That was 15 years ago and I have certainly improved - but man what a hit that was (and still is). Good luck!
