What is the best form of magnesium?

I am using magnesium citrate, but it seems to cause my copper to go low.

I guess it's the citrate part, because oranges does the same thing.

I have tried magnesium malate, that seems to throw my calcium levels off.

I noticed that magnesium malate, and magnesium glycinate seem to get old after a few weeks.

I guess the malate and glycinate part degrades.

It seems to me that citrate, and amino acid chelate form of magnesium are more stable.

Anymore it seems to be hard to find magnesium amino acid chelate.

So what is the best form of magnesium to take, and where can you find it?

Another option is Mag. Taurate. I don't tolerate oral magnesium but I used that one for a while in the past. Maybe it would work for you. Now I just use the transdermal spray.

I dont know really what are the best forms of magnesium but I know what is okay with me. I had a bad reaction to a magnesium but I never looked to see what form that was. I then tried Thompson's brand of "Organic Magnesium" (low allergy formulation) and Im fine with this one.

Looking at the ingrediants of this one (Thompson's Organic Magnesium) it is mostly Magnesium Amino acid chelate (805.5mg equiv of magnesium 161.1mg) with low amounts of a couple of other types.

In it it also has Magnesium Aspartate (100mg equiv magnesium 7.5mg) and Magnesium Orotate (equiv magnesium 6.4mg) and very small amounts of D and B6 and has kelp in it

I brought mine from an Australian chemist but it says it is sold elsewhere in the world http://www.thompsons.co.nz/wawcs018471/ln-markets.html . Maybe if one searches one will find one can order it online from somewhere or email them and ask them if anywhere locally is selling it http://www.thompsons.co.nz/formwcs018138/ln-enquiries.html
