I have heard differing opinions on the 2 day cpet test as to whether or not it is useful in winning disability cases with private long term disability insurers and with Social Security. From being totally worthless to being the best demonstration of the degree of disability. Any insights are appreciated. Also, does health insurance usually cover this test if a doctor prescribes it? Any idea what is the typical cost involved?
