Im listening to this after i have posted this thread. What i have just heard which was interesting that maybe very common to cfs is that cortisol and the cytokine interluken 6 (I6) causes reverse t3 problems with the thyroid which then causes leptin resistance, this test isnt normally done even by alot of hormone guru's. Dr Kruse is also saying that leptin resistance is a cause of alot of inflammation in the body. Leptin is a brain inflammatory problem and people with alot of inflammation probably are leptin resistant. Interesting?

A couple of sites on reverse T3 which will complement the above links. It seems that fixing reverse T3 and low carb diet can fix leptin resistance, eventually people are able to tolerate i higher level of carbs but obviously cant live of chocolates though i guess. It seems that fixing leptin resistance can also fix insulin resistance/type 2 diabetics not on insulin, as well as general health. This is all starting to make sense after looking into adrenal fatigue as they both go hand in hand, obviously i have had no personal experience but will be talking to my intergrative doc about this and ask about using T3 thyroid, mm interesting!
