International ME/CFS and FM Awareness Day Is On May 12, 2018
Thomas Hennessy, Jr., selected May 12th to be our international awareness day back in 1992. He knew that May 12th had also been the birthday of Florence Nightingale. She was the English army nurse who helped to found the Red Cross as well as the first school of nursing in the world.

From WPI's facebook: "Dr. De Meirleir's January 29th, presentation has been cancelled, however, his talk will be rescheduled to March of this year. Please check back for further updates. We are sorry for any inconvenience this change may have caused you.
    Sincerely, Kellen"

I wonder if his flight into the US was cancelled due to weather?

I hope he is going to be back for mine a few days later - its not ideal to change peoples appointments at the last minute when they have paid for accommodation etc.

We got an email about a week ago ... so you probably would've heard already, if yours was also cancelled. When's your appointment? My new one is on April 3rd.

Would we need to sign up with ustream to view the presentation?
I'm also wondering if a recording will be accessible after the event.

I met KDM today and he told that it must be a misunderstanding from WPI to announce this lecture. It is for medical students and not for patients, so we are probably not getting access to it. I am as sorry as you are for this, but KDM surely has good reasons for his decision.
