I went to the syncope clinic inside the CLE clinic just one year ago. I felt they did not integrate POTS with CFS/ME, most patients are young athletes.

Also my Cardio, who thinks Grubb is the best in the world for POTS, told me Dr. Grubb's wife just passed away. This may affect wait time for an appointment.

Thanks @PNR2008 for the added info and Sushi told me about his wife passing away and I was sorry to hear that. I am moving very soon and not yet in a position to travel anywhere but am gathering names and experiences on the dysautonomia docs for the future.

@Gingergrrl I called Dr. Grubb's office. The staff told me he has a waiting list of 600? patients (don't remember the exact number). He is not accepting new patients at this time & the waiting list is full, too. That was last month. If any one calls & hears something different now, please let me know, too.

@Avengers26 Thank you for the info and I figured the odds of seeing Dr. Grubb were slim to none. I am not well enough to fly anyway but I was curious if this was even an option. There are very few true autonomic specialists and it does not look like I will be able to see one but I am not giving up yet. If anyone knows of any others, please PM me!

Dr. Grubb is in Toledo. He has lots of tricks up his sleeve--if he is still in practice. The thing about Vandy is that you can't choose your doc--kind of Russian Roulette. People seem to do better there as research subjects but that requires a fairly long stay.
Sush- I absolutely agree. I could write a book abt this! Your old friend
