Ha, I've seen you dug up a paper I really like. I know brain imaging studies have a lot of pitfalls, but what I like about this paper is the authors didn't just look at absolutes and call it a day, they really thought about how to use limited information to translate into what could actually be going on. I think they work at Griffith University now. It's a paper I hope Ron Davis has looked at.
