Interesting. The molecule in question is a human enzyme called guanosine diphosphate-L-fucose synthase. Also written as GDP-L-fucose synthase. This may be one of the antigens that the immune system mistakenly attacks in MS.

Since MS is strongly associated with certain variants of Epstein-Barr virus, I wonder how this enzyme links to EBV?

I wonder how is this molecule found for ME. I ask because of the similarities in symptoms and white matter issues.
