i had a 30 minute tilt table test in january, along with various tests for dysautonomia. I had never got the report from the specialist, but today my doctor called the hospital and the doctor's assistant told him that I have neurally mediated syncope.
I know a little bit about POTS, but had never heard of NMS before. I am trying to find out what part of my symptoms this explains : dizziness I suppose, but what else ? Is there any way to control it ?
It took me by surprise, because they told me everything was normal at the time, and although I know I almost faint sometimes when I move too quick, I always attributed it to my low blood pressure (which is no longer low because of non-related medication I take, pure coincidence).
If anyone has input on this, I would really appreciate it !
