Post-exertional malaise or not?

Thanks A- I am seeing a new doctor who has chronic EBV so she understands pretty well what I am talking about. So far nothing she has suggested has helped. She has given me several new supplements to try but I don't notice a thing with those either...
She is the one who suggested I keep walking as I never seem to have any ill effects from it. I usually try to walk outside if nice...I believe I have a problem with shopping because I am looking and having to think. It is much worse when I clothes shop etc. as I am looking through racks of clothing. When I grocery shop I have a list so I can go right to that item and not have to scan and decide.
I am going to try Tai Chi as I have a DVD and it is always something I have wanted to do. I can't sit still long enough to do yoga and have a very difficult time relaxing as my body always feels like it is hyper inside....

yep that kind of shopping is the worst

My specialist could thell when i had been it he supermarket form my 48 your halter monitor reaidng - my pulse rate went up then

Try not doing it for a couple of weeks and see what happens

yes ot wantign to sit still isanother symptom - i do the rebumbant parts of a yoga class - avoid static standing poses especaia ad go gentle lying stretches whenever th class is standing up - i sit at bck of class for this reason and talk to teacher first so they know what i am doing.

Does anyone ever get these symptoms, which I have gotten from time to time since in my 30's...

feeling like an elephant sitting on your chest
short of breath
every movement, even of fingers, feels like it causes a lactic acid burn
it is tiring to think, to even read
everything seems heavy or too much work
muscles feel pulled EVEN IF ONE DID NOTHING TO PULL THEM
It s worse the second day.
I have had episodes like this simply from PMS.
I have had episodes like this from sweating too much.
I have had episodes like this from exertion possibly coupled with adrenaline, but not exertion I hadn't done
some days ago and been fine.
It's not high bp (even though sweating caused high bp, the others did not).
I have a normal ECK except for sinus bradycardia which they said is normal.
The only thing ever detected was ketones. Don't know if that's it, and if so how to avoid. Seems people these days are deliberately taking ketones for weight loss, so how come they are not complaining of this?
The fact that this happened for years during PMS and I did nothing at all to trigger it makes me wonder
if anyone else has experienced something like this here?

OMG! I have episodes like this too! Having to look through lots of things I find extremely stressful! Actually I usually find it stressful...when I lose something I prefer to just go on and hope it will turn up rather than look for it (stressful!) and yes the scan and decide at stores - hate that! Looking for things actually makes me feel kinda dizzy. I do go on travel (theoretically - I haven't been away much due to caring for homeless cats) but when I go I never reserve motels in advance because looking for the motel is very stressful and it's MUCH nicer to just stop at whatever motel your car passes. I figured the reason I can't stand to look for things is because I have a neurological problem that I can't focus my eyes on a moving object...it causes dizziness. When I move my head around a lot it is as the same as trying to focus on a moving object. There is a name for this - maybe nystagnus.
