I've had swelling intermittently, but in the past it was always from eating wheat or egg whites and would go away after a couple days. But now it's been pretty much constant for the past month, even when not eating wheat or eggs. Usually it's been most noticeable in my arms and back, but for the past few days it's also been in my legs, face, etc. No other new/weird symptoms with it.
I'm assuming (hoping) it's just a new allergy, and as of 18 hours ago I'm trying an elimination diet of lamb, rice, and pears to see if it disappears after a few days. But I'm also worried that it might be something more serious. Any suggestions? I'm currently on a smallish island far from the country where I'm properly insured (though my insurance will cover urgent issues), so would rather not have to bother with going to a doctor unless it might be serious.
