Interesting that this was a response to the article about the demands to review the PACE trial. I was really heartened to see a British consultant writing this, as usually we're not offered any kind of tests other than the usual, useless battery that are done during the 'diagnostic' process. My ME onset followed EBV, but no-one's ever offered to test me for viral reactivation, or discussed using any kind of antiviral.
