Some of the doctors that I see, feel it may be related to either herpes viruses or enteroviruses, as they see a lot of it in their patients. I do have it. It has improved with treatment. My daughter also has it and she is very healthy.
Oh i have another tongue issue id like to throw in if you don't mind I've got a swollen tongue. Anyone knows what that is? My thyroid hormones are normal...
One of my first symptoms was a burning tongue. It was driving me crazy and I went to a few doctors for it.Does anyone experience discoloration of the tongue or other tongue and mouth symptoms such as thrush, mouth sores or what not? (Other than crimson crescents, that is)
OS~ You very well could have your teeth imprinted on the lateral edges of your tongue. I have this too. That is because my tongue rests more in the middle of my mouth, rather than up on the roof of my mouth. It is not a problem...it is what it is.
