What would someone with serine definiency look for in terms of supplements.

I checked out L-serine which showed me brands with L-Serine bulk powder.

Then at more "serious" retailers iherb, vitacost they only had something called Phosphatidyl Serine. Does this compound raise l-serine sufficiently ?
