No. I rang Fauldings about theirs back when I went to get mine and they said to certainly not take theirs internally. Ring them and they will tell you that.

The ones you can do have instructions on them about taking internally. That was why I had trouble getting mine originally as the chemist ones too generally you cant take take orally either. (The Gold Cross brand is one which is safe for internal use).

Most doctors are not aware that things with these have changed and not all brands are safe now for internal use. (my own bowel specialist said that I was the first he'd even ever prescriped that too, he was near middle aged too).

Each to their own, 2 doctors have advised me it is fine to use internally and my 92 year old mother has used it all her life as her mother did before her.

A specialist recommended it as a component of a detox program also.

I've had no problems with it and am happy with it's benefits.
