@Kina, I already provided the citations
I beg your pardon. I was told that all people with chronic conditions were welcome here... ? I was under the the impression that many of the people here were still struggling to get official diagnosis. Are they viewed as second class citizens here, as well?
FYI, I developed CFS in 1983. It wasn't very well understood at the time and anyone who supported it was a whack-o. We've sure come a long way, thanks to the efforts of alternative practitioners allopathic practitioners and researchers, alike. In 1998 I received my first diagnosis of Fibromyalgia (and CFS) from a panel of MDs in varying specialties. In 2002 I received a second, confirming Fibro/CFS diagnosis from an eminent West Coast neurologist.
My problems with glutathione "fit into the ME/CFS" paradigm because they are all related immuno-compromised conditions.
Lymphadenopathy, like the other examples of more detailed science that I provided you, on the lymph system, is a lot more varied than what a cursory wikipedia or chacha definition reveals.
Nor have I.I still have no idea what 'toxins' you are referring to.

There are hundreds of thousands of chemicals used in products like perfumes, laundry detergent, fire retardents on mattresses. They require processing by your liver.
So with that fact, it follows that some people's livers may not process those chemicals as well as others' do.
Ask someone who gets severe "highs" and then headaches from perfume. Really, just because most people can detox the chemicals in perfume, laundry detergent, doesn't mean everyone can.
The liver has proven cycles to neutralize things, like the P450 process that affects the metabolism of some prescription drugs.

Lucky people who detox all this junk in their own livers often do not try to imagine what life is like for those who can't.
@Toxed wrote When Dr. Smith told me about those nitrotyrosine results I went digging. I ran search engines on "toxins" and " austism" together. I stumbled, by the grace of God, onto a brilliant researcher by the name of Karen Slimak. She was running trials with autistic kids and adults that involved dietary and environmental toxins. In her research she found that it was necessary to eliminate ALL toxins. In fact she noticed that the kids were addicted to them. When the team removed all the known toxins they discovered that the kids exhibited some strange behaviors. They would sniff laundry. Upon investigation they found residual laundry product fragrances, saliva, or urine. The latter two were from the kids and offgassing the toxins resolving from their bodies. They removed all those type of sources. The kids would then put their heads under their clothes or blankets and huff their own breath to get at the toxins that were resolving from their lungs. They also had kids that would stand with their noses to cracks in the door, next to the windows or along the walls. They were huffing the toxins moving around the walls from the outside. When they sealed those up and detoxed the kids, ALL, even the most severely autistic kids returned to nearly normal mental and physical health. They returned to memory/learning at the point before they first became afflicted. She ran her trials for 30+ years, and helped hundreds of kids. Why haven't most people heard about it? There's no money in it.
What's OP? Are you thinking maybe she left PR?I'm distressed to find some posts have been cut from this thread, and the OP profile seems now to be N/A.
yes.Are you thinking maybe she left PR?
That is amazing, as I remember doing the same thing in my childhood. Great name btw. I am toxed too, starting with mercury poisoning from 'teething powders' which were 50% mercury, and in hospital severely ill at 5 months old. After then, I suffered immune insufficiency and endocrine disruption and other ME symptoms the whole of my childhood. I had other exposures from playing with a jar full of mercury.
But I remember walking to school and having to pass a filling station, and I would pause so I could inhale the fumes from the petrol which made me high. I was about 10 at the time. Later I had a massive exposure to pesticide which nearly killed me but I slowly recovered by avoiding chemicals in the home and eating organic vegatables.
