Sushi,
From what you write it seems that you have overcome any PEM issues. Can I ask a couple of questions to have an idea of your improvements.
About your exercise habits, are you able to do any of the following cycling, swimming or running and for how long?
How long would you say it took you to get to a stage where you don't experience PEM any longer?
It's really interesting and also comforting to read of some who seem to break free from CFS.

Note: answered in chat.

Why not answer here where the people who read the forum and dont' participate in the chat can also read the answer ? I've noticed you answer quite a few things in chat and that is your business but I feel a lot of us may miss some really good information, especially since you are doing so well.

Hi everybody,

Reading some of the positive reports I was wondering if these people who improved actually had trouble with inflammation before start of GcMaf. It would be nice to know. BTW I started GcMaf in april last year, had 9 shots of 100ng (KDM vial) then stop due to increased inflammation. I restarted 2 weeks ago with a 1/10th of that previous dose and within 3 days had a cold sore on my EYELID!!!
Lucky it didn't get into the eye. I wonder if that could be from the GcMaf. Now I am scared to try another dose.

Hi globalpilot and others,

Yes, I often do answer by PM or chat. This is not because I don't want to share information publicly--I am just not at liberty to do so. Because of this, I compromise and respond by chat or PM--apologies!

Sorry if this sounds like a "mystery"--again I can tell you more in chat or PM.

Best wishes,
Sushi

hello. i have a bit of an urgent question. i am on gcmaf but taking a short break.

not sure if this is related to the GcAMF or not because my vit-D was low anyway, but the current value of the 25-D was 34 with normal being 75-250. i am still waiting for the 1,25-D.

Could someone tell me exactly how much vit D i should supplement? my doctor suggested 1000 U but at the time, he did not have these vit-D values.

Also, is there a particular brand of vit-D i should buy? I just have a generic drugstore brand.

thanks a lot!

I'd wait for your 1,25 values before you decide. A drugstore brand might be D2 and you want to take D3, so look at the label closely. Generally the drugstore brands are not as good as the ones you get online or at a Health Food store. Any of the reputable brands sold there may be fine. I'd guess people have favorites though.

Hi everybody,

Once you get your results, Daffodil, I think it is safe to experiment with different doses of Vit D up to a certain point. If I'm remembering correctly the upper limit is something like 10.000 IU. Anyway, I've tried several brands of good quality D3 from health food stores and a doctor, and they have all felt the same to me.

My benefits from GcMAF have been similar to yours, Rivka. It has mainly improved my stamina. I didn't have much brain fog before I began it. Living the mold avoidance lifestyle took care of my brain fog. But practicing mold avoidance also meant that my immune system had a hair trigger for inflammation before I started the GcMAF. Maybe that's why I need such small doses of it.

lucky one, your immune system is awaking and finding pathogens, very good wish i had the same so fast

natural antinflammatories may help but they also lower immune response because inflammation is needed to boost immune response, anyway if too much you can use:

http://www.hepatitistechnologies.com/store/product/69270/FibroGuard
http://www.advanceliferesearch.com/store/product/69424/NutraSoothe

Proprietary Blend (ATNF - 10) : 840 mg *

BCM-95 Bio-Curcumin (Standardized to contain 95% total Curcuminoids)(Curcumalonga), Pomegranate Extract (Standardized to contain 40% Punicosides) (Punicagranatum), Green Tea Extract (Camellia sinensis), ResvidaTM Trans-Resveratrol (99%), Luteolin Bioflavonoid ( from Perilla frutescens), Powergrape Whole Grape Extract (Vitusvinifera), Blueberry Fruit Extract 5:1 (Vaccinium corymbosum), Baicalin (from Scutellariabaicalensis), Rutin, Lycopene (from Blakeslea trispora)

this is very expensive because produced by a research group of scientists mainly to regress cirrhosis, it has a very potent antinflammatory effect.fibroguard and nutrasooth are the same product and same ingredients

it did regressed my cirrhosis in less than 2 years, if you can afford it iis probably the best otherwise just use some single ingredients like curcumin, reservatrol

as to the diarrea i d use bifidus home made yogurt, it is very potent probiotic and may have an effect on lowering nagalase too, it may well be a part of maf314 strains

wow thank you lobba!

thankfully, my doctor emailed me this morning and some some diarrhea is frequently seen on gcmaf, which is odd because i couldnt find anything listed as side effects on the internet.

i hope it will pass. i am taking some expensive probiotics. if it does not pass, i will look into the yogurt,

thank you! and so glad you are doing well...

Can cgmaf be frozen two times?.

Hi all,

Can cgmaf (from cgmaf.eu) be frozen two times?.

I would need to split cgmaf vial in small doses. I'm going to begin with very low doses and increase over time. But in this way vial will last much longer than the typical 2 moths. So I plan to thaw gcmaf vial in order to split it in many tiny doses using 0.3 ml insulin syringes & then freeze them again to use in coming moths.

Thanks

do not take probiotic pills but fresh made yogurts, probiotics in pills are useless most of the benefits come from the way probotics work on milk

no it will lose potency if not all effect

you can forzen one time and split in syringes, i did it too but the vials kept at 4 were more potent

it is also good to add sterile water before extracting gcmaf so you wont waste gcmaf left in the needle when you inject.

Hi Lobba,

Do you know exact reason beceause it can only be frozen one time?. I'm sure that every time is thawed & frozen some potency is lost. But it seems that most substances keep best if frozen rather than just cool (4C). Even if they have been thawed and refrozen several times. It is puzzling me...

So it's better to keep it at 4C all time (until 4 or 5 moths) inside the main vial?

On the other hand, mixing with sterile water can't make it lose potency ?

Thank you very much for your advices.

my vials were frozen originally so i take 1 vial out, thaw it, split it into syringes, then refreeze the syringes. when i need to inject, i thaw a syringe and inject...so technically, most of the doses have been thawed twice.....

i've also been told i could keep the remainder of 1 vial in the fridge but i dont do it this way...... a person i know who has gotten a lot better does the syringe/refreeze method so i thought i would do it that way.
