Even my doctor knows RBC Magnesium is more reliable
But in my experience urine levels are the best way to assess it
If I ever need it again I will measure serum, RBC and urine in the same day
When I had it tested it was one regular urine sample and my magnesium was alarmingly low (with blood levels in mid range), so there was no need for a 24 hour sample.Thanks! Do you do a 24hr urine collection, ...
@Dr.Patient RBC serum testing is not very accurate. I did the RBC test years ago and it was low which meant that I was already 1/3 depleted.
You can also test here, it measures mg in the cells
