I would be extremely careful taking these potentially liver damaging meds especially when you have been on Valcyte, which csn also be hard on the liver. NSAIDS are known to damage mitochondria, which can negatively impact energy production.Thanks so much for this idea! I have never tried them together, but it makes sense that it would work better than either one alone. This is similar to the Excedrin for Migraines that someone mentioned earlier, except that product is aspirin and Tylenol, and it also has caffeine.
That is good to know, thank you. I will be restarting my B12 sublingual and my methylfolate shortly so maybe I will add that in. I don't like taking a lot of separate Bs when it seems like you should have a B complex but that may be out dated information and I am overwhelmed at this point so will have to have that on the back burnerB2 supports mitochondria complex II function and methylation which might be helpful.

For inflammation, I've had good experiences with Thorne Meriva (curcumin) and Boswellia, and for headaches, Quicksilver Colorado Hemp Oil, a CBD oil.
I was in Valcyte for 10 months and like @Forçe e Honra can only say good things about it. I was on 1.8g a day.
I agree that the symptoms you are reporting sound like some sort of infection acting up. Perhaps the Valcyte was helping the ones you were taking it for, but you had ANOTHER infection acting up that isn't affected by Valcyte??
When I saw a neurologist about my chronic migraines and I was taking too much of my prescription medication for it - he prescribed the following:

I'd forgotten about the B2.
I started magnesium, but a higher dose as I knew I needed it.
I haven't tried the feverfew or Cefaly and I take more CoQ10.
When I initially started the magnesium and another medication not mentioned here by my specialist which is known as a migraine preventative, my migraines did decrease dramatically. They have recently made a resurgence.
Mainly there are some physical structure issues that are most likely the reason for my migraines, which my doctor is in the process of getting ruled out or in, as the case may be.
