I'm really surprised that a few ME patients got these before RA patients!

I knew someone who felt cured during the period of a temporary, trial implant of a "pacer." She had wires coming out of her mouth for the days of the trial. She didn't get the surgery though as it was very expensive and required a lot of recovery. That was a few years ago, things may have changed now.
