Unexpected benefit from Ortho Molecular NK Stim

To treat cytomegalovirus that was causing me sinus symptoms, my ENT recommended a 6-week course of Ortho Molecular Viracid in the morning and NK-Stim at night. My sinuses are much better now, and I'll have a follow-up culture next week.

What I didn't expect is that NK-Stim has really improved my sleep although it's used as an immune enhancer. I had taken Viracid before, and it didn't affect my sleep, so the NK-Stim seems to be what's helping. I'm sleeping longer, and it feels like good-quality sleep.

Here's the description and the ingredients:

You must have an excellent ENT! I wonder why it helps with sleep!
That's very interesting. Someone posted this on twitter. Who knows what all he saved you from.

Thanks for posting the table, @Violeta! Very interesting. Yes, my ENT is fabulous. She has decades of experience as an ENT and ENT surgeon and digs deeper into her patients' ENT problems than any ENT I've ever seen. After I had a lot of fungal sinus infections, she put me on Ortho Molecular Ortho Biotic, which has a strain especially helpful for preventing sinus fungal infections. I haven't had fungus show on a culture since then.

I looked into why the NK Stim ingredients could help sleep and saw that zinc biglycinate, olive leaf extract, and aloe vera can all help sleep even though that might not be what they're primarily used for. I had taken olive leaf extract a long time ago for immunity, but it was a bigger dose than the NK Stim. I stopped because it reduced my blood pressure too much then. It does seem to lower cortisol.

Even though the NK Stim has helped my sleep, I haven't read any reviews that report the same thing, so I might be an outlier.
