Curious if anyone found anything helpful if you had cavities that were eating in the nerves and caused pain prior to seeing a dentist

Just curious since I was rxd amoxicillin 500mg 3x a day for a possible infection.7 day supply

The doctor suggested that until I see a dentist and perhaps get a root canal it will be difficult to get to the root of it.

I also picked up over the counter mouthgels.Essentiallt I have cavities that i have been too passive over months and it's been causing pain in the nerves and gums..

Any suggestions till a dentist is seen for dealing with pain?

Thank You

Clove oil is suppose to help some with tooth pain but tastes yuck. I would do a look up online on how to use it if you consider it.

Hope you get some other suggestions that will help you, @Davsey27.
