Thoughts on Pacing/Energy Envelope Management/Heart Rate Monitored Exercise?

Curious what has been your experience with this area

I was watching a video on Dan Mori elllo yesterday regarding how he monitored his heart rate to gradually improve Cfs.

I could be mistaken but this mind of method that is individualized is not the same as GET as if seems it took him months to build up from 3 minutes to 5 mins of power walking

I an finding the activities of daily living themselves
take a good bit of effort themselves .I have looked around for the updates of his status but couldn't find anything.Perhaps he is still doing well with this.How much validity has there been with this exercise protocol by Klimas of wearing a watch to monitor hr?
