Yeah, that totally makes up for the several trillion dollars in undelivered, unprovided, and desperately needed supplies, normally provisioned by previous gov'ts who seemed to be operating under the misunderstandng that it was DC's obligation to step up during crises ....

Well, at least the Surgeon Gen'l has his next gig and/or side hustle lined up .... comforting .

My community members are sharing supplies and patterns. One neighbor just brought me the right kind of cloth and I just sent back the right kind of elastic. A third neighbor made hers of black cloth with sequins and a red mouth with a cigarette hanging out—yes, we are figuring it out!

As I remember, it is two layers of tightly woven quilting cotton. The elastic isn’t so important—just something comfortable to loop around your ears. We are using 1/4 inch because we have it, but some are using 1/8 inch or even rubber bands.
