Should Lysine & Arginine always be taken together?

Should Arginine & Lysine always be taken together if you have EBV? I took Arginine, Citrulline & Ornithine for a month and was feeling great - until I crashed. I think that the problem may be that the Arginine stimulated my EBV virus..

So, do you think that if I add Lysine to the regimen, it will keep the EBV at bay? OR, will it just negate the effect of the Arginine altogether, including the positive effect?

I can't really give advice on that, just my opinion: I think your supplementation pushed the balance ARG-LYS and caused the virus outbreak.

Sometimes I supplement a little bit of Lysine since my diet is rich in arginine. Lysine also helps me with lowering ammonia, though I don't exactly know how.
