I've got one relative with ME and they are an aunt so fairly immediate. Like me she's been able to work part time I think (once she got diagnosed with ME she went from full to part time, but after about 5 to 10 years she was able to pickup more work than she could initially). So it makes you wonder if the propensity for severity (in my case anyway) is that I have the same issues biologically that she does.

But I know others where the severity follows no trend and the mother can be severe while the daughter is pretty severe but not as bad. So hard to see if there is any trend or correlation.
