that "perceived danger" causes or increases pain, may also work in the other direction: that perceived care soothes pain.
havent we already heard about this?

but to conclude that all pain originates in the head, is imo psycho.

hopefully, i misunderstood the article somewhat.

A few experiments about psychologically induced pain definitely does not prove that all pain is psychologically induced. If you are surprised by a wasp sting, are you perceiving a threat (when you don't even know that a wasp is around) or are the nerve impulses stimulated by the wasp's venom being interpreted as pain to warn you of a threat?
