Not quite a national news station, but perhaps there will be somebody who finds this little piece of interest (March 13, 2010):

[..]

In addition to medical education research, Mr. Lunn’s clinical research interests lie with clinical virology. Working with Dr. Jos G. Montoya (Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine), Mr. Lunn assisted with a novel, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to assess the safety and efficacy of oral valganciclovir therapy in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and elevated antibody titers against Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6). Furthermore, Mr. Lunn currently studies viral reactivation in and therapeutic options for patients with chromosomally integrated HHV-6.

I give them credit for trying but that was pretty lame. Hopefully they'll create better PSAs about ME/CFS. They didn't even mention XMRV! And that guy they interviewed is all, "There are some other patients that kinda fit her situation" or something like that. Oy!
