No lower reflexes

Hi, I recently was able to make it out of the house for the first time in FIVE years and get to a non ER dr.

It didn’t go well on most fronts BUT I just learned from doctors notes of my visit today, I have no lower reflexes. He did not inform me, my husband or other caregiver in room of this.

So, my thoughts go to either possibly spinal lesions or neuropathy as possibilities but I am not fully certain.

Any ideas? It’s going to be awhile, if ever, that I’m able to get medical assistance again. I would still like to be more informed on this though.

I’ve never had one spinal tap or mri. You read that correctly. And yes, I lost the ability to walk. Oh and I had a brain mri with lesions. Obviously, my case is atrocious and I have to do so much research on my own.

And no, there was NO referral to a neurologist despite losing ability to walk. But there is a referral to a psychiatrist for conversion disorder 👍😊

Also, I was told in 2017 by my cardiologist that I wasn’t strong enough to do tilt table test. One was reordered. I am COMPLETELY bedridden and even bathed in a bed. Family members are urging me to get it but I do not feel my organs can be upright for that amount of time (severe pain and breathlessness and low o2 occurs).

Does anyone know of how well severe me/cfs people tolerate tilt table test?

So I like watching this doctor's channel sometimes when I'm not in overload mode. It's interesting VIDEO
(oops...link fixed) and when you said no reflexes in your legs I remembered that episode. The patient also had that. She talks about that symptom at the 3:33 mark but if you can and want to maybe watch the whole thing to see if anything else fits.

Warning she does talk fast.

If you don't want to watch the full episode the spoiler is that they figured out he had severe B12 deficiency. It was even causing brain damage and, I think, she said atrophy.

Edit: If you think this could be possible maybe Greg's B12 topical oil. Hip talks about it helping brain fog and Jadzhia mentioned that there is a FB group. It is expensive though.

Also ironlion37 talks about B12 improving him significantly but the only kind that was has become impossible to find now. :(

Sorry I can't give links for those threads but for some reason the phone desktop version doesn't let me see PR webpage URLs to copy. I'm on my phone currently.

Thank you Judee! Will watch.
I have exponentially raised my B12 levels with transdermal drops. They were like 1500 earlier this year.
