Hi all,
I am very new to Neurofeedback. Yesterday I tried my 1st session.
My problem is my ADD and I am hoping to correct or make some improvements to it using Neurofeedback.
As I am reading more about it, I am realizing there are several methods to doing Neurofeedback, some of which are effective with relatively low risk and others that some reported were harmful.
One of the approaches that I have read reviews about is the Othmer approach.
I have just emailed the provider I saw yesterday asking which approach is he using. But wanted to ask: which approaches are reported to have a relatively lower risk? Has anyone had a positive experience with Neurofeedback? If yes, do you know which method was used on you?
I figured I ask these questions before committing to a 10 session package deal and/or buying an expensive home unit down the line.
Thanks so much,
Peyt
