Hi All Happy to be able to post since lapse during new format. Since pain has been one of my top 3 symptoms, have kept up to date as possible with alt or conventional txs targeting pain.

This week, the New Jersey State Senate and Assembly signed the bill to legalize medical marijuana. Gov. Corzine has said that he will support and sign the bill. NJ joins the ranks of 13 other states that have legalized its use for medical purposes.

Those with a 'debilitating medical condition' will be able to purchase up to 2 ounces of marijuana in a 30 day period with physician approval. Medical conditions include: severe or chronic pain, wasting syndrome, Crohn's disease and cancer.

A registry ID card will be issued for use in home or hospital. It would be distributed by designated alternative treatment centers
(ATC) Details are in the bill. This is a large step. It was courageous move to ease the suffering of many New Jerseyans, present and future, by giving them the opportunity to legally access medical marijuana.
