ME Action: Save the Gottfries Clinic in Sweden from the shrinks

The Gottfries Clinic is the main biomedical ME and Fibromyalgia specialist clinic in Sweden.They do clinical research as well, and it's part of their current contract to educate medical professionals in the region.

Gottfries' current contract runs out on 30 November 2016. Following a recent political decision, the contract will not be renewed.

ME and FM patients in the region (Västa Götaland) will from then on only be offered care and treatment "with a clear bio-psycho-social direction", "in line with national and international models, evidence based for patients with medically unexplained symptoms (MUS) and/or chronic non-malignant pain". No biomedical treatments.

i totally agree, we're all in this together!

(i live in a different part of the country, very far from Gottfries, but i wouldn't for a second hesitate to support them in this crucial fight.)
