Yes, I know exactly what you mean.

What I did was increase my dose of cod liver oil gradually day by day, carefully watching out for any negative symptoms or adverse effects.

I normally take around 5 ml of the Seven Seas Extra High Strength Cod Liver Oil each day (which contains 230 mg of EPA+DHA per 1 ml). I buy this Seven Seas product in a bottle as oil, because it is much cheaper than capsules.

So then I slowly increased my cod liver oil intake each day, until I got to a dose of 20 ml per day. Then I stayed at that 20 ml level for a while, and then increase to 30 ml per day for a short while.

I did not notice any adverse effects; but unfortunately I did not see any benefits either.

seems the benefit might be more about cleaning the bowels and may help with inflammation from that pathway to the brain, I have chronic sinusitis and rhinosinusitis and anaphylaxis and anaphylatoid reactions to mold extracts amoung other things , chemicals, voc's, basicly brain allergy immediate severe reactions in the brain that quickly send you to lala land and causes mood changes with re-exposure to my triggers, washing my sinuses helps stop the continuation of immediate effects from re-exposure, the last few years the intencity of the reactions over all has mellowed out a little where I can get out a little more but depending on dose still and to what I can still go to lala land, kindling effects are likely involved and I think that's mast cells in the brain, I think as far as water damaged building exposures go it's likely the overall changes in biome and molecular mimicry that leads to autoimmunity and because the innate and acquired immune systems are involved and mast cells and IL-33 are the bridge between innate and acquired that it's very possible that MCAD may happen along with infection going systemic, BBB breakdown, and other airway involvement to the brain (specifically sinus /brain for me is very involved in my severe fibromyalgia and what brings own my severe fibromyalgia is a re-exposure to a trigger, my triggers are what I was exposed to in the WDB that tried to kill me. and with secondary responces basicly the whole airway is involved, avoidance is number one on the list of things to do , not just in the air but food, skin. ).

Do you use the yoga neti method to wash out your sinuses?

I detailed an "advanced" version of neti in this post. That post also lists various supplements I found helpful for my chronic nose and sinus inflammation.

I have not tried that, I've found that for deep cleaning if I lean over the counter and lay my face level, and do one side at a time and let it soak than run out it does a pretty good job
