Making bed just got easier

I bought several tools to make it easier to tuck the bed. I got them for my part time helpers who make the bed. They like them. And I tested one myself last night.. it made tucking much easier.

The tools look like paddles. I was shocked at how much easier this made. And use the front edge to push the blanket or sheet underneath the mattress. I was shocked at how much easier this made things. But one trick I learned is to not try to push the whole thing all the way in at once. I would go along and push for the blanket part way in with the tool and then make a second pass. And a third. Maybe I could have gone all the way at once, but this seemed to be more logical way to do it.

Here's what I got. One because it was the longest, the the other because it is the widest.

Is there anything that helps with putting fitted sheets on a mattress? I always hurt my hands and arms doing it (the force required is too much for my connective tissue). I guess I could try to find looser sheets, but exhausting trying to figure out what won't smell, loose enough on the mattress but won't come undone, etc.

You can use a tucker paddle for this. Here's a link for a movie. Pay attention to the first several seconds where the woman uses a paddle to slip the sheet down and under.

The movie is at the bottom of the page.
