Been hesitant to do Rituxamib because we have found almost all CFS/ME patients have abnormally low CD19/CD20 cells, so not sure if want to lower them even more??
Is this a case of another Dr. not understanding rituximab ?

I am trying to make sense of this argument - it doesn't seem logical. Either RTX is a valid treatment in which case b cell depletion is required or it isn't a valid treatment.

Quite a number of groups have now looked at CD19/20+ cells in ME/CFS including Fluge and Mella, Bansal, Blanco, Griffiths, UCL, Mikovits and historically probably a dozen others and everyone finds them normal. Not sure how this chap finds them all low - which he has not published. Certainly the comment sounds to reflect a lack of understanding of B cell targeted therapy.

Here's a long report of the conference by Dr Ros Vallings:

And of course, make sure you haven't missed our very own Mark Berry's excellent detailed report...

The conference gets a mention today on a New Zealand health website.

"Dr Rosamund Vallings, of Howick Health and Medical Centre, in Auckland, attended the conference in June and has returned home excited about the prospects of various international research paths."

This isn't right, is it?

"Some people will be recovered in six months and others in two-three years, which is the average recovery time."

Is there going to be a streaming link? I don't have a DVD player.
No, not this year and no guarantee of when there might be a stream. As I understand it, it comes down to the small number of volunteers who run Invest in Me and what they are currently capable of doing - I believe a streaming version is on their to-do-maybe-one-day list.

Thats too bad. It would be much easier for some of us if they offered a stream. Even after the conference, for the same cost of the DVD. It would save them the costs of making the DVD, and would open the audience to more people. Many conferences do this and there are sites that specialize in hosting, billing, and streaming such media.
